Our mission is to support and empower American Indian Citizens and their
families achieve self-determined success by providing culturally-rich programs and
resources that promote and strengthen lifelong learning and wellness, workforce
and career development, economic sustainability and asset development.
The Northwest Indian Opportunities Industrialization Center welcomes everyone. Our organization is designed to serve the unique and culturally rich American Indian Community in Northwestern
Programming is membership-based; the public is welcome to join NWIOIC through a free and simple two-page application. This is done for us to understand who is using our services, how we can improve our organization, and in the case that someone want to participate in a special program, it is the beginning of that process.

Friday 9:00am- 2:00pm
GED Tutoring and Pre-Testing: Tuesday - Thursday 2pm -4pm
Trainings are Tuesdays 9am-4pm (preregistration required)
The Northwest Indian OIC follows the Bemidji School District school schedule for weather related closings.
We are guided by the principle that when American Indian Citizens are
empowered with culturally rich environments and relationships, as well as equipped
with appropriate contemporary resources, they hold the resiliency and ingenuity
to realize and ensure the sustainable economic, spiritual and cultural
well-being for themselves, their families and their communities.
